Education and Training
Cork City Partnership funds a number of Education courses in local communities in Cork City in partnership with the 10 Adult Community Education Networks in the city. It does this by providing funding for the development of part-time certified/advanced courses in community locations, in particular, in the disadvantaged areas of Cork City.
The aim of the Partnership’s Education Programme is to enable the development of progression routes for adult learners who lack the confidence and learning levels to undertake formal education options. Many learners use these courses as a first step ‘’back to education’.
Courses are free to DSP participants.
If you would like further information on the courses that are available in your area please contact Breeda Fitzgerald, Education Worker, on 021 4302310. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org or your local education network.
In conjunction with Cork ETB we also run community education courses directly, through our outreach offices. Please contact your local Cork City Partnership Office for further details.
These courses are funded through CCP when they are accredited and Cork Eduction and Training Board for non-accredited courses.
