For our 2024 Case Study, Cork City Partnership (CCP) plans to focus on the target group People living in disadvantaged communities through our new SICAP Community Outreach Office in Glenamoy Lawn, Mayfield, Cork city.

Purpose

This video case study will showcase the strong links and collaboration between CCP, Cork City Council (CCC) and Local Community Groups that have benefited the small area. The location of our office is in Glenamoy Lawn; the small surrounding areas are ranked extremely disadvantage by the Pobal HP Deprivation Index. The Case Study will illustrate what has worked well and why; highlighting issues and challenges and showing what has been achieved. It will show how direct engagement with residents and local community groups in small areas helps to build up trusted relationships. The office location is creating new energy among the residents and local community groups, and we believe that having a community building that is accessible and open has helped to build up trusted relationships.
