Local Development Week 2026 is here! 🌱

From 28th September to 2nd October, Local Development Week brings communities across Ireland together to celebrate the people, projects and partnerships that create positive and lasting change at a local level.

This year’s theme, “Local Action, Lasting Impact,” shines a light on what can be achieved when local people and communities have the support, resources and opportunities they need to shape their own futures.

Here at Cork City Partnership, we see the power of local action every day. Through our programmes and initiatives, we work alongside individuals, families, community groups and partner organisations across Cork City to promote social inclusion, employment, education, empowerment and community development.

Throughout Local Development Week, we’ll be highlighting some of this work and celebrating the people and communities who make it possible.

💚 Stronger Communities. Brighter Futures.
